Andrew Giles Duchossois, aged 43, died January 27, 2024 in his home of complications due to alcoholism.  Andrew was born in Cleveland to Frank and Susan (nee Mikol). He graduated from Solon High School and attended Five Towns College in Long Island, New York where he studied audio recording technology. Andy worked as an audio technician and in various capacities in information technology and the automotive business.

Besides his parents, Andy is survived by his brother Alex of Seattle, and loving aunts and uncles including Sharon Mikol, MD, Scott Mikol, Linda Portzer (deceased)(Ralph), Sandy Dorrian (Jeff), Lisa Mikol, Georgeann Raskin (Phil), Brian Duchossois (Jo), and Earl Duchossois (Linda). He will also be missed by his cousins Kathryn Raskin, Erik Portzer (deceased), Samuel Portzer (Sydney), and Sydney Portzer Fellowes (Thomas) and their daughter Addison Fellowes.

Andy had a passion for making and listening to music. He loved baseball, especially the Cleveland Indians/Guardians.  Another of his passions was high-performance cars. He loved his rescue cat, Ted. He enjoyed keeping up with his many friends, some lifelong friends and many he made along the way, including his new friends at the Solon Log Cabin AA.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Geauga Rescue Village in Novelty Ohio (www.rescuevillage.org) or the American Civil Liberties Union of Ohio (www.acluohio.org)

Visitation will be at Tabone-Komorowski Funeral Home, 33650 Solon Road in Solon from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 1st.  Followed by service at 7:00 P.M. The Internment will be private.
