Ann Castelli, 96 of Solon Ohio died peacefully on Monday, August 3, 2026 at home.

Ann’s greatest love was her family. She worked as a homemaker until serving as a

bookkeeper for the Little Sisters of the Poor Nursing Home in Warrensville Heights,

Ohio. After retiring, she and Leonard traveled extensively with Elderhostel (Road

Scholar). Mom enjoyed playing cards, biking, swimming and taking classes at Tri-C.

She was a master seamstress who created clothes for the family, and later prom, bridal

party and wedding dresses family and friends. Ann was active in the Church of the

Resurrection (Solon) and the Solon Senior Center.

Ann is survived by her children: Leonard (Steven) of New Jersey, Gerard (Mirasol) of

Florida, Cynthia (Ray) of Garfield Heights, Thomas (Laura) of Indiana, Nancy of

California, Sheryl of Indiana and Anne Marie (Daniel) Mulcahy of Solon. She cherished

each of her grandchildren: Gina, Zachary, Kyle, Kaitlyn, Luisa, Kirsten, Catania and her

6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Maryann Sivilich and Joanne

Young. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband R. Leonard to whom she was

married for 57 years. She is also preceded in death by her brother Charles and her

sisters, Marge, Betty and Chris.

Ann was born on June 27, 1930, in Lee, Pennsylvania, to Anna (nee Evan) and Charles

Kobosko.

A memorial service will be held on Friday August 14 th at the Church of the Resurrection,

32001 Cannon Rd, Solon, OH 44139. Visitation at 10AM, Funeral mass at 11AM

followed by luncheon afterward.

Mom will be laid to rest on Monday, August 17 th with Leonard at the Ohio Western

Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, OH 44273. Internment

ceremony at 10:15AM.
