Anne Ruggles passed into eternal life on August 23 at the age of 93.  She was the youngest of four children of the late Anthony & Lottie (nee Sielaczek) Mechla  and was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on February 26, 1924. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, Robert R. Ruggles.

Anne was also preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Clow Lawhun of Glendale, Arizona, and Genevieve Caravona of Phoenix, Arizona, her brother Anthony Mechla of Glendale, Arizona, and her daughter Lesley Bailey-Gates of Piedmont, California. She is survived by her son, Robert A. Ruggles of Aurora, Ohio, son-in-law Paul Bailey-Gates of Piedmont, California, grandsons Christopher Bailey-Gates (Sally) of Guildford, England, and Geoffrey Bailey-Gates of Piedmont, California, and great granddaughters Charlotte Bailey-Gates and Darcey Bailey-Gates of Guildford, England and 7 nieces and nephews.

Anne was loved by many for her warm heart, sweet manner, beautiful smile, hugs and genuine concern for others.     She was a woman of deep faith, joy and hope, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.   Kochanej mamusi wieczny odpoczynek.

Mass of Christian burial to be held on September 1 at 11:00 am at St. Rita Catholic Church 32820 Baldwin Road in Solon, where friends may call from 10:00 am until time of service. Internment Lakeview Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to St. Casimir Church 8223 Sowinski Avenue Cleveland, Ohio 44103 will be deeply appreciated.
