age 86, of North Port, FL, former long-time resident of Solon, OH died peacefully on December 16, 2017 in Port Charlotte, FL. Loving son of Anton and Clara (Tylicki) was preceded in death, by his beloved wife Letitia "Tish" (Domanski). Jerry graduated from Benedictine High School, worked in the old Central Market, served faithfully in the US Army, graduated from Fenn College and enjoyed a career in various management positions at TRW, Lester Engineering, and Victoreen. Jerry was an active and committed parishioner of St. Rita's Church for well over 50 years. Jerry is survived by his most loving companion of many years, Claudia Babareka, brother Jack, sisters Maxine and Barbara; remained a devoted father to Jim (Dawn), Dave (Denise Beck), Mark (Gina), Matt (Tanya), daughters-in-law Veiga, Karen, and Diane Dearth; and adoring grandfather to Chris, AJ, Mark, Mike, Melissa, Carson, Danny, Gabrielle, Alexander and his great-grandchildren Channing, Chace, Iris, Lily, and Sage. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Catholic Church of Saint Rita. Family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment at Roselawn Cemetery will immediately follow. It was Jerry's wish that memorial donations be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, 32820 Baldwin Road, Solon, OH 44139 in lieu of flowers.
