Arthur “Skippy” Francis Komorowski Sr., age 94; loving husband of the late Linnie (deceased 2015); devoted dad of Arthur Francis Jr. (deceased) (Susan), Jan (Mike), Tim C. (Judy), and Georgie (deceased); dear granddad of Arthur “Arte” Francis III, Claudia (deceased), Lauren (Jamie), Erin (Andrew), Rob (Leti), Joe (Anna), Jason, Jeffrey (Molin), Sean (deceased), Tim D. (Stacie), Jill (Dan), and Janna; amazing great-grandfather to James, Louis, Ozzie, Sophia, Izzy, Drew, and Marina; dear brother of the late Dolores.

Art was a devoted and active parishioner of St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Bedford.

Art was trained as a jet fighter pilot in the U.S. Air Force and took great pride in his service. He spent most of his career at SK Wellman. In his later years, one of his favorite pastimes was happily mowing his field.

Skippy and Linnie had a special and enduring relationship, treasuring the time they spent traveling in their motor home with their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Skippy was a tireless and loving caregiver to Linnie in her final years. They remained the love of each other’s lives and will be greatly missed.

Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of his beloved wife, Linnie Komorowski.

Private services will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. A celebration of Art’s life will be held at a later date.
