BETTY JANE (Lashley) ZIMMERMAN, 89, left this life on Saturday July 6, 2024.  Betty was the fifteenth of sixteen children born to Benjamin and Lillie Lashley in Mt. Savage, Maryland.  Betty spent her childhood in Mt. Savage.  After graduating high school in 1953, Betty moved to Cleveland.  She worked at Parker Hannifan where she met and married the love of her life Frank Zimmerman.

Betty and Frank spent their 69 years in Solon Ohio, where they raised two sons: Mark Joseph and Paul Joseph.  Betty was a devoted wife and loving mother.  Her ultimate joy in life was taking care of her family.  She was a life-long member of the Solon United Methodist Church  and supporter of St. John Byzantine Catholic Church in Solon.

Betty was preceded in death by their son, John, her parents Benjamin and Lillie Lashley, her 15 siblings, nephew Charles Dom and niece Deborah Tanner.  Betty is survived by her husband Frank, sons Mark (Lisa) of Colorado and Paul (Diane) of Virginia and many nieces and nephews.

Betty will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  Per her request, there will be no formal services.
