Carol L. Swanson, 85 years of age, went home to be with the Lord on May 4 ^th , 2023. She was born on January 8th, 1938, in St. Paul, MN, to George and Mildred (nee Jesperson) Robinson. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and caring grandmother and great-grandmother. As a committed follower of the Lord, Jesus Christ, Carol enjoyed membership at Parkside Church and volunteering for Truth for Life Ministries. Carol is reunited in heaven with her husband, Ken, and son, Matthew. She is survived by sons Michael (Tracy) Swanson of Dublin, OH, and Stephen (Holly) Swanson of Pleasanton, CA, and daughter-in-law Renée (Hank) Suhr. She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew (Renée) Swanson. She also leaves behind five grandchildren: Adam (Caitlin) Swanson, Emily (Joe) Durbin, Jacob Swanson, Simon Swanson, and Isaiah Suhr.Carol was also blessed with two great-grandchildren: Jack and Lucy Swanson. Calling hours will be on Saturday, May 13 ^th from 10:30 am to Noon at Parkside Church, 7100 Pettibone Rd., Chagrin Falls, OH 44023. The memorial service will begin at Noon.
