CRAIG W. KOENIG, age 81, Beloved husband of Patricia A. "Pattie" (nee Donnelly). Loving father of Jessica and Bridget Palmer (Michael). Devoted grandfather of Colette Palmer. Dearest son of Walter and Eleanor Koenig (both deceased). Cherished brother of Barbara (deceased), Brian (Kathy, deceased) and Debbie Brinda (Lenny). Brother in Law of Kathie Kopkash (Tom, deceased), Ruth Bucurel and Joe Donnelly (deceased) (Cathy). Beloved uncle of Kim Kadow (Jeff), Kevin (Allison), Kristen Bird (Joe), Kyle (Becky), Allyson Skebe (Rob), Lindsey Egizii (Mike), Brian Brinda (Shayne), Kim Obbards (Dwayne), TJ Kopkash (Michelle), Nick Bucurel (Andrea), Ryan Bucurel, Craig Bucurel (Camry) and Brandon and Ryan Donnelly.

Craig grew up in East Cleveland and attended St Joseph High School. From there he went on to Indiana University for his undergrad and Masters. Upon graduation Craig worked at NCR before going into the family business with his father Walter and brother Brian when Koenig's Sporting Goods expanded to multiple locations.

Craig and Pattie were long time members of Chagrin Valley Country Club, and when he was playing golf he served as a past President. He also served as President of National Sporting Goods Association.

His family and friends loved him dearly and will miss their adventures together.

Entombment Crown Hill Cemetery. Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Thursday at Saint Rita Church, 32820 Baldwin Road, Solon. Friends may call at THE TABONE KOMOROWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 33650 SOLON ROAD, SOLON (WEST OF SOM CENTER ROAD) 4-8 PM WEDNESDAY.
