DUDLEY "SCOTT" READ (age 87) of Solon, Ohio passed away on November 4, 2023. Scott was born

in Akron, Ohio on June 27, 1936 to the late Helen Elizabeth Read and Dudley Alexander Read.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Shirley and his brother Jeff. He is survived by his

sister, Christine of Akron; children: Maureen (Terry) of Aurora, Michael (Laurel) of Chagrin Falls,

Marla (John) of Charlottesville, VA, Mark (Anita) of Mount Sterling, IL, Matthew (Leigh Ann) of

Memphis, TN; his long-time partner, Lynn Armbruster; his much-loved grandchildren: John

(Becky), Amy (TJ), Ryan, Lucas, Ali, Abigail (Caleb), Gabby, and Nicholas; beloved great-grandchildren

Lucy, Lily, Eva and Joe and cousins. You may visit with Scott's family on Thursday, November 9, 2023

between 11 AM-12 PM at Parkside Church 7100 Pettibone Road Chagrin Falls, OH 44023, followed by

a service to celebrate his life. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made
