DOLORES was 88 years old and was the beloved wife of the late John P. Kelly and the late Leroy Berichon. She grew up in Cleveland and was a member of St. Jerome Parish, St. Mary Magdalene, Immaculate Conception, St. Rita's and Holy Angels.

As a young girl, at age 14, she worked selling candy at Woolworths. Parents would come in and have her put together packages for their sons who were fighting in WWII. She loved being able to help.

After that she ventured out to get a job at the public library and was able to talk her way into being one of the first female pages. She loved working there, working with the children and did so until she graduated from Villa Angela Academy.

Dolores went on to marry John Kelly and had four daughters, JoAnne Podor (Mike), Karen Kelly, Mary Pat Kelly and Eileen Morgan (Dennis).

After becoming a widow in 1975, she ventured out into the working world and worked at Washington Mint and Progressive Ins. while studying to become a realtor. Eventually, she got a great job at Towmotor in Mentor and worked her way up to be Supervisor of Word Processing. She worked there 10 years before retiring.

Later she married Leroy Berichon and became part of his family including his 4 children: Dick (deceased), Hap, Janet (deceased) and Suzanne. She felt blessed to be part of such a loving family.

Dolores had 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 15 step grandchildren, 40 step great-grandchildren and 2 step great-great-grandchildren.

She loved bowling, playing bridge, golfing and painting as well as traveling. She volunteered for Meals On Wheels, the library and at the church. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

The biggest thing we remember about her is her sense of humor. Whether things went her way or astray she always found the funny side of things and we will always remember her laugh. God Bless Our Mother !!

Family will receive friends at Tabone Komorowski Funeral Home, 33650 SOLON Rd., Solon, OH from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1st. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, March 2nd at The Church of the Holy Angels 18205 Chillicothe Rd., Bainbridge Twp. Interment All Souls Cemetery.
