DON TROMSKI of Twinsburg, OH passed away on May 8, 2024 at the age of 85.  He was the loving husband of Carolyn (nee Wenzel) for almost 60 years, devoted Dad of Donna Tromski-Klingshirn (Mike) and Joan Greene (Daryl, deceased); beloved Grandpa to Lauren Fotta.  He was the brother of Robert Tromski and son of the late Martha Tappe and Chester Tromski.

Don was an army veteran and proudly served as a Captain on the Cleveland Fire Department from 1965 -1992.  He then worked at the Senior Center in Solon, OH, finally retiring at the age of 75.

Don was always an avid sportsman and joined the Babes of 1916 in 2004, playing baseball volleyball, bowling and golf.  He also loved ballroom dancing and was part of a dance group with Carolyn who often entertained at various assisted living facilities and nursing homes in the area.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Rita's Church 32820 Baldwin Rd. Solon, OH on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 10:00 A.M.  Burial will be private on Friday, May 24th.  In lieu of flowers or gifts please make a donation to the American Heart Association, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.
