Donna J. Hanson (nee Matilo), 86, went to her heavenly home on February 25, 2024 surrounded by family following a brief illness. She met her husband, Ronald, in 7th grade, when they were the first class to attend Memorial Junior High school in South Euclid.  They graduated together from Brush High School in 1955.  They welcomed their only daughter, Laurel, in 1963.  Donna was a loving, devoted mother who attended all of Laurel's games, performances and activities. She was an avid golfer at Acacia Country Club and made many life-long friends through her involvement on the Acacia golf team and the CWGA.  She and Ron travelled with 3 other couples for many years to play golf courses throughout the United States.  They also took many trips together to places around the world.  Donna also enjoyed playing Bridge, making many dear friends within the various groups she played with.  Donna's true pride and joy were her grandsons, Ian and Nathaniel.  She was their only babysitter, took them to classes and museums, and attended every T-ball, flag football, basketball and baseball game they played in.  Donna was deeply loved by her family and many friends and will be greatly missed.  Visitation March 9th from 9-11 AM at TABONE-KOMOROWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 33650 SOLON RD.,SOLON OH.  Services and Interment private.
