Edward M. Hunt, very quickly, while doing something he loved, Ed passed away from a heart attack while swimming and playing in the waves with his beloved Patty at Flamenco Beach on Culebra Island off Puerto Rico on Feb 19th.  All who knew him are devastated by this sudden loss.  Ed, age 74, was raised in Northfield, Ohio and graduated from Chanel High School in 1966 and the University of Dayton, where he and Patty met, in 1970. Ed had a 40-year career in Engineering and Operations Management for Loctite, Blue Coral, Shell Lubricants, and Heinz Foods.  He often said that the highlight of his career was working with so many wonderful people.  In retirement, Ed enjoyed lovingly caring for his home and family, frequent golfing and socializing with his many dear friends, and traveling the world with his family and friends as much as possible. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patty Kelly Hunt, son Brian Hunt (Mary Fink Hunt), daughter Kelly Hunt (Alex Perez Collazo), sister Sharon Hunt (Gordon Brown), sister-in-law Jeanne Kelly, and grandchildren Robert, Lilly and Teddy Hunt and Valentina Collazo Hunt. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Bernice Hunt. He was a cousin, uncle, and friend to many, and was respected and loved by those who knew him. The family will receive friends at Tabone-Komorowski Funeral home (33650 Solon Rd) in Solon on Thursday, March 2nd, 4-8pm, with a brief service at 7:30pm.  A celebration of Ed's life will be held at Alfredo's at the Inn (Holiday Inn, 780 Beta Dr) in Mayfield Village on Friday, March 3rd from 12:00 pm to 4pm. Internment at Lakeview Cemetery at a later date.  The family requests no flowers.
