SCHILERO FRANK F. SCHILERO A native of Cleveland, passed away on March 2nd 2015, after living with cancer for the past 8 years. He was born on December 2nd 1932 as a native to Cleveland Ohio son of Maria (nee Mileti) and Anthony Schilero. Frank was one of nine (9) Schilero children: Josephine, Mary, Vince, Clara, Joseph, Rosemary, Santino (Sam) and Marie, Angie. He served as a firefighter during the Korean War. He returned home to his wife and sweetheart Pauline (Belviso) to begin their family life. They had two children, Anthony J. Schilero and Frank Paul Schilero. After only (18) years together, Pauline tragically passed away from cancer in 1971 and Frank went on to raise his two sons alone. Frank worked as a Journeyman Plasterer with the Local 80 on projects such as Jacobs Field, State Theater and many other local architectural treasures in the Cleveland area. His incredible skills at his craft is only shadowed by his care and kindness for his family friends and neighbors. Frank enjoyed the companionship of Lilian Garcher, and they had many happy years together until her death in 2006. Frank is survived by his sons Anthony (Cathy) of Twinsburg and Frank Paul (Kristen) of San Juan Capistrano, CA, granddaughter Jessica (Andrew) of Louisville, KY, sisters Angie (Louis) and Clara of San Jose, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends will be recieved at TABONE KOMOROWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 33650 Solon Rd. (just W of SOM) on Friday March 6th between 05:00 PM and 09:00 PM. Prayer Service 10A.M at funeral home prior to Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rita Church, 33200 Baldwin Avenue; Solon, OH, at 10:30 AM on Saturday March 7th 2015. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to honor Frank's memory to the American Cancer Society, Crossroads Hospice and St. Rita church. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Cleveland Clinic and Heartland of Twinsburg rehabilitation facility as well as Crossroads Hospice for their love, care, and friendship extended to their Father.
