Genevieve Schrecengost's Obituary
GENEVIEVE SCHRECENGOST (nee Wesolowski) age 93, passed away peacefully at her home of 25 years, with her two daughters and son-in-law by her side on June 28. She was born June 4, 1922 in Cleveland, OH, to the late Stanley and Stella, beloved wife of the late William; loving mother of William Jr., Linda Czechowski (Patrick), Brenda Schrecengost, and the deceased: Dennis (Marianne), Robert, and Theresa (Jerry); dearest grandmother of Geneen, Laura, Michelle, Steven, Adam (Jennifer), Sara (Ryan), Kim (Matthew), Rachel Santarpia and William III; great-grandmother and great-great grandmother of many; sister of Barbara, and the deceased: Frank, John, Thomas, Joseph, Sophie, Stephanie, Nancy, and Ann; beloved aunt and friend to generations.
Geneiveve was an active member of Stella Walsh Senior Center in Cleveland and moved to Parma to live with her daughter, Linda and Son-In-Law, Patrick, where she became a volunteer at the Donna Smallwood Senior Center where she served on the Advisory Board and RSVP Program, Bingo Caller and Arts and Crafts instructor for 20 years.
She will be missed by all the friends she made and the lives she touched with her great faith in God, her funny faces and playful spirit.
