George Pazel, 95, of Aurora, OH, went to his Lord Monday, December 28, 2015. He was born in Youngstown, OH, November 10, 1920 and grew up in North Lima, OH. He is preceded in death by parents Frank and Elizabeth Pazel, wife Isabell Bodnar Pazel, brothers John and Stephen Pazel. He is survived by daughter Mary Lou (John) Ross, Aurora; sisters Frances DelRae, Campbell, OH, Mary Sipos, Youngstown, OH, Julia Cook, Levittsburg, OH, Mildred (Chuck) Merrick, Youngstown, OH, grandchildren Michael (Sandra) Vickers, Wake Forest, NC, Adele (Otto) Mauch, Parma, OH, great grandchildren Jon, Allison, Katelyn, Parma, OH, and Christin, Lauren, Luke, Wake Forest, NC. Served in U.S. Army during WWII. He married Isabell Bodnar in 1946 and they lived on the east side of Youngstown. Isabell died in June 1989 following a brief illness. George found employment in the steel industry for 30 years. He has lived in Aurora, OH, with daughter Mary Lou and husband since 1989. He has been a patient at Kensington of Aurora since July 2013. Visitation and family greetings are Saturday, 10:00 AM, January 02, 2016, in the greeting space, Church of the Holy Angels, 18205 Chillicothe Rd. (S.R.306) Chagrin Falls, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 AM with Pastor Fr. Dan Schlegel. Final place of rest is Green Haven Memorial Gardens, 3495 S. Canfield-Niles Rd., OH, at 1:00 PM.
