GEORGE A. RUBY, Age 85, born August 3, 1935 in Boston Massachusetts. He was raised on Cape Cod, in Onset, Massachusetts a small town with a population of 3,000. George, a retired Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force, provided 26 years of service from 1954 to 1980.  He had many awards including the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, Vietnam Medal, Campaign Medal, and 2 Oak Leaf Clusters. George then worked in the Civil Service Defense Department, and Defense Contracting. From there, he worked at General Motors for 14 years and Central Cadillac as a general manager for 21 years. Early in his career, George dedicated his life to education and obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Park College and a Master's in Business Management from Central Michigan University.

George was a beloved husband of Ottis Dee; dearest father of Leonard (deceased), Jeffrey (Tiffaney) of South Carolina, Gina of Dayton, Ohio, Richard of North Carolina, Tina Pritchett (Mark) of Dayton, Ohio, Rita Jenkins (Timothy) of Cleveland, Ohio, Tony (Denise) of Dayton, Ohio; and dearest grandfather of Kaytonia Ragland, Shazon Ruby, Jasmin Mitchell, Britany Ruby, Tia Mathis, Richard Ruby Jr.(Emma), Darryl Brooks (Andrea), Ricky Rutledge Jr., Mark Ruby, Tony Ruby Jr., Justus Ruby, and Jalen Ruby. George will be remembered for his work-ethic, kindness, generosity, and loving commitment to his family.

Prayer service, Monday 10:00 A.M. at TABONE KOMOROWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 33650 SOLON RD. (JUST W. OF S.O.M. CENTER RD.) followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rita Church, 10:30 A.M., 32820 Baldwin Rd. Solon. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the FUNERAL HOME, FROM 2-4 P.M.  SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2021.
