George Skipper, Age 82, of Bentleyville, passed on Sunday August 14, to his next journey after a courageous battle with brain cancer. George was born in Canton, Ohio on September 13, 1933 to Raymond and Elizabeth (nee Maly) Skipper. A graduate of Canton South High School, he attended Ohio Wesleyan and Fenn College. He served in the United States Airforce from 1953 to 1957 and was employed at the Cleveland Clinic for 23 years in Clinical engineering. George married his high school sweetheart, Carolee (nee Bowser) in 1954. They have four wonderful children. David, Thomas (Rosemary )(nee Siegman), Cathy Strzempka (Christopher), Diane Skipper-Rossi (Michael) and seven beautiful grandchildren. Joseph (Maya), Emlyn, Matthew, Samuel, John, Peter, and Christopher Strzempka. He was preceeded in death by his parents and his brother, Raymond Skipper (Carol deceased nee Hurst). George wished no Funeral service. Instead his family will host a celebration of his life for friends, family and all who knew and admired him. The reception will be held on Saturday, August 27th at the home of David Skipper, 541 East Twinsburg Rd., Northfield, OH, from 3-7PM.
