JAMES E. HELMICK, born in Carmichaels, PA, passed away on January 10, 2016, surrounded by family. The son of the late Marshall J. and Lulu (nee Rice); husband of Venus (nee Waugh) for 21 years and love of 25 years. James had a very large family who he loved and was very proud of. James served in the United States Army for nine years. He worked at Ferro Corp for 25 years, 18 years of which he was the union president. Family will receive friends on THURSDAY, JANUARY 14, 2016 at KOMOROWSKI, A GOLDEN RULE FUNERAL HOME, 4105 E. 71 ST., from 2-4 PM where a service will be held at 4 PM. Inurnment will take place in Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery in Stouts Mills, WV on January 21, 2016 at 2 PM.
