Jean McVoy Perko passed away peacefully at home on November 6, 2016 at the age of 81. (Louis) Al and Jean celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary. Al and Jean resided in Solon for 52 years. As Parishioners of St. Rita's Church, Jean immersed herself in fundraising activities for the church and school. Jean also coached softball and cheerleading. Jean took on volunteer roles as secretary of her golf and bowling leagues and TOPS organization. Jean was an accomplished bridge player and brought her special Slovenian bakery to family and friend events. Jean will be missed by her husband, Al, her children, Cherie (Ken), Jim (Tammy), Lori (Brian), David, and Stacie (Luis). And, her brothers, Jim and Bob (Lucy). Special in Jean's life were her grandchildren, Mary (Jesse), Polly, Thomas, Samuel, Tyler, Ashley, Adam, Helen, Seth, Ben, Cece and Nico. Jean was preceeded in death by her children, Brian and Lynn, and her grandson, Billy. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 10:30 A.M. at the Church of St. Rita, 32820 Baldwin Rd., Solon. Family will receive friends at TABONE KOMOROWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 33650 SOLON RD. (JUST W. of SOM CENTER), SOLON FROM 4-8 P.M. Friday, November 12th.
