age 88, of Chagrin Falls, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2018. Beloved mother of Kathryn Hillow Corrigan, Laura Rushton (Joseph), and Margaret Mazanec (Mark); dear grandmother of Robert Hillow (Erica), Allison Harabin (Richard), Amy Held (Christopher), Jennifer Mazanec, Carolyn Mazanec, and John Mazanec; adoring great grandmother of Theodore Hillow; loving sister of Martha Brown Black (William). Preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Virginia Brown, and her baby son, Alan I. Hahn. Born in Shaker Heights, JoAnne was a graduate of Hathaway Brown School (1948) and Skidmore College (1952) with a B.S. in Nursing. Soon after she began her career, she married Dr. Robert Hahn and settled in Rocky River, where they raised their three children. She was a dedicated volunteer, a loyal patron of the Cleveland arts, including regular concerts at Severance Hall and shows at Playhouse Square, and enjoyed golf, travel, skiing, reading, and family celebrations. Memorial Service to celebrate JoAnne's life will be held Saturday, July 14 at 12pm at Federated Church, 76 Bell St., Chagrin Falls, OH 44022, followed by a reception.
