Joanne Marie Rondini, 74, of Voorhees, NJ passed away peacefully on November
20, 2022, after a brief illness. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on September 28, 1948,
our beloved Joanne was the daughter of Adino and Flora (nee Romagnoli) Rondini
(both deceased).  She graduated from Orange High School, Class of 1966, received
her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from University of
Kentucky (1970), and earned her Master's in Health Education from Kent State
University in 1979.  Joanne's career began as a substitute teacher at Edgewood
High School which led to 34 years as their Physical Education and Health
instructor, as well as being a Driver's Education instructor, while also coaching
field hockey, basketball, and tennis for the school. Over the years, Joanne
enjoyed going to the Jersey Shore with friends, snow skiing trips, hiking and
camping, playing sports, rooting for all Cleveland and Philadelphia pro sports
teams, rooting for NFL teams employing her nephew, and spending time with
family including her extended families in Italy. After Joanne retired from teaching,
she enjoyed reading, traveling, learning Italian, photography, and spending time
with her close friends becoming "Auntie JoJo" to their families. She also
volunteered her time in local nursing homes, at the Senior Center within St.
Andrew the Apostle Church, and enjoyed thirty-three years of active membership
in the Alpha Delta Kappa International Honorary Organization for Women
Educators. Joanne is survived by her twin brother, James Rondini, of Devon, PA,
her sister Christine Rondini Heiselman (William), and her nephews whom she
loved very much, Christopher (Caleigh), Joseph, and Nicholas Heiselman all from
Florida, and her Aunt Maria Bianconi from Montreal, Canada.  She also has many
other relatives throughout the United States and Italy that she stayed in contact
with over many years.  In addition, Joanne enjoyed many close friends and
relationships in Voorhees that she considered family. Her caring, thoughtful, and
loving personality brought joy to all those who knew her.  Joanne will be dearly
missed and forever in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations
can be made in Joanne's honor to National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the
National Kidney Foundation. Visitation at 10 AM Saturday, December 3rd at St.
Mary Church, 340 Union St., Bedford, OH, followed by a mass at 11 AM.
Interment All Saints Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by TABONE
