It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Sutera, age 68, on 3/25/25. Born on 10/2/1956, John lived a life full of warmth, joy, and love. He was a cherished member of the Rose-Mary/Cedar House, where John found a second family for the past 19 years. John's family and caregivers lovingly cared for him, and he thrived in their companionship and support.
John's parents, Frank and Elizabeth Sutera, predeceased him, John was deeply loved by them as well as by his older brother, who shared a special bond with him throughout his life. A man of simple pleasures, John found joy in hearty meals and the company of those who took the time to care for him.  John will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. John's life was a testament to the power of community, kindness and unconditional love.  He will be missed dearly but never forgotten.
A graveside service will be held to celebrate John's life on 4/1/25 at 1 pm, at Riverside Cemetery
