JOHN D. WOOD, age 81, entered into rest March 30, 2015, beloved son of the deceased Reg and Gladys Wood; loving father of John Wood and Carrie Williams; dear grandfather of Jon Wood, Nicole Williams (Sean Gue), Nathan Williams (Anna Evenson), Cassie Boese (Robert)and Jacob Williams; dearest great-grandfather of ten; dear brother of Ruth Tatum (Ken, deceased) and Nancy Mandley (John); beloved friend of the late Marge Fisher and companion of his dog, Ike.

John was born in Canada and came to the United States to marry Dorothy Polaniec. Mr. Wood was a 50 year Mason of Acacia Lodge #651 and a York Rite member. He volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, was a member of Jones Road Congregational Church, a welding instructor in the Peace Corp in Ecuador and a volunteer of the Bainbridge Department. Mr. Wood was employed by Anderson International and Stock Equipment.
