LESLIE DIDRIKSEN GORSKI, died July 8 after a long battle with cancer six weeks after her husband Mike died after his battle with cancer. Leslie is the daughter of the late Jean and Howard Didriksen of Park Ridge N.J. She was a graduate of Park Ridge High School and was an honor student and a member of the cheer leading squad. Leslie also graduated from Farleigh Dickenson with both her bachelor and master degrees. Following college she worked briefly at Becton Dickenson in Orangeberg N.Y., before joining MP Biomedical where she would work the next 30 years. When MP moved to Solon, Ohio she went with them 15 years ago. Five years later she met the love of her life Mike Gorski, and after a ten year courtship they were married last May. An animal lover like her mom. Leslie was involved in animal rescue and being a vegan and growing her own food. She was a proud step mom to her step daughter Elizabeth who was the joy of her life. She loved Ohio and visiting the nearby Amish country where she loved visiting her "honorary sister" Tene Fisher whom she loved. She is survived by her step daughter Elizabeth, two brothers Bruce of N.Y. and Kevin of Ohio, nephew Eric of N.Y. ,sister Tena and her husband Willy and daughter Anna of Middlefield Ohio, her life long friend Jenny Lentz of Batimore, Beverly White of Aurora Ohio and special care taker Jennie Orrico and her two dogs Chloe, Rosebud and two cats. She is also a great grand daughter of Mayflower passenger John Alden and Presidents John Adams and John Quincy Adams and related to the Trumbull family for whom Trumbull County is named.
