Leslie Paul Lemons, Jr., son of the late Leslie Lemons and Pearl Woodruff Lemons, was born on March 27, 1922 in Essex, Missouri and departed this life on September 18, 2015 in Brunswick, Ohio at the age of 93.

Mr. Lemons was a United States Veteran of WWII and a resident of the Cleveland, Ohio area for the past 50+ years, but always loved going back to Stoddard County (Missouri) to visit family and friends.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Betty Hourat Lemons; three sons and daughter-in-law, Leslie Paul Lemons III and Kathy, Kevin Lemons and Ruth, Kurtis Lemons and Natalie; by one daughter and son-in-law Kim Lombardi and Joseph. He was an adoring Grand and Great-Grandfather, and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was proceeded in death by two sons, Paul Stephen and James Sidney; brother Leonard Lemons, and by one sister, Billie Harty.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 from 12:30 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery. (www.mathisfuneralhomes.com)
