Margherita G. Anastasi (nee Emanuele), 82, entered eternal rest on
December 16, 2021, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Margherita was born on September 19, 1939, daughter of Umberto
Emanuele and Giuseppina Emanuele (nee Parafioriti) in Galati Mamertino,
Sicily. Margherita married Umberto Anastasi in 1965 where they traveled
from Sicily to then start their life together in America.

Margherita was an amazing soul and was deeply loved by many. With
warm hugs to give and laughter to fill the air Margherita had love in her
heart for many. She would always reminisce about her life in Sicily and all
who were a part of it, talking about all the beauty the country had and
family memories she cherished. Margherita is now walking with the Lord
and holding the hands of family and friends who have passed before her.
She will be missed dearly as her love for those in her life was pure.

Loving mother and grandmother, Margherita is survived by her four children
and three grandchildren, Son Joseph Anastasi (Karen), daughter Nina
Anastasi-Vitanza, daughter Maria Anastasi-Sandon (Gian Paul), Son
Umberto Anastasi, granddaughters Alexandra Vitanza, Arden Anastasi
(Jacob Chesnick), and Olivia Anastasi.
Margherita is also survived by her two brothers, Peppino Emanuele and
Tony Emanuele and their families.
Funeral service will be private. The family has requested that
remembrances be made in the form of contributions to the American
Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.
