LILLIAN PANCZEL, Age 91 of Solon.  Lillian was a talented homemaker and craftswoman, particularly in the field of crocheting.  Blankets, baby booties, crosses, doilies, and more came from her crochet hooks throughout her long life.  She was commonly known in her circles as "The Cross Lady" because of the countless crosses she crafted.  A woman of charity, Lillian's beautiful work was always given away for free.  Over 4,000 of her hand-made crosses found their way around the globe to places such as Hungary, South America, New Zealand, and Africa via family, friends, and missionaries.  Possessing a sharp mind, Lillian enjoyed completing books of complex word searches and was a bilingual speaker of both Hungarian and English.  An ethnic Magyar, she relished hearing stories and histories about what she would call "the old country" from family.  During the holidays, she would spoil her loved ones with delicious ethnic Hungarian foods and her handcrafted gifts.  Lillian overcame and saw much in her 91 years of life, and she leaves behind a legacy of inspiration for those that were fortunate enough to know her warm smile.  Lillian was a beloved wife of the late Laszlo; devoted mother of Susan Huntsman (Steven); Larry Greeley (Carole) and the late David Panczel and Steve Greeley; loving and cherished grandmother of Kevin Huntsman.  Private Services will be held for family.
