Patrick "Pat" Theodore Meyer, Pat was born on March 16, 1940 and passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 1, 2021. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 50 years, Anne. His children Jennifer (David) Waugh, Trish (Kirt) Beske, and John (Niccie) Meyer will miss him dearly. Pat spent many days watching his two grandsons Ben and Ayden when they were young. He excelled in his role as Papa and adored his grandsons. He is also survived by his brother Eugene Ruscher, sister Helen Meyer, and his nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Helen, brother Edward, and brother William.

Pat found a second, very large family through the Jehovah's Witnesses. Over the years Pat demonstrated his faith and devotion to Jehovah. The family of brothers and sisters lifted him up throughout his life. Pat never stopped serving Jehovah. The richness and love given to him over the years kept him going through many hard times.

Pat embodied the tradition of Cleveland sports fandom, keeping it in proper perspective, using an infectious humor to process the occasional joy and frequent pain.  Pat demonstrated joy for life and his smile was infectious to all who were lucky enough to have known him.
