Ralph Andrew Siebert, age 83, of Solon, OH passed away peacefully in the company of his sons on January 7, 2022. Ralph's death was preceded by his beloved wife of 58 years, Madeline Siebert (nee O'Linn). Ralph was a loving father to Michael A. (Pam), Joseph T. (Gretchen Herzig), and Rev. Edward J. Siebert, S.J. and grandfather to Sarajane Hagen (Josh) and David M.; son of Ralph and Jean Siebert (deceased); cherished brother to the late John (Jean) and the late James (Eileen); brother-in-law to the late James O'Linn (Betty) and Rose Mary Smith (David); dear uncle of Jackie Deininger (Mike), John Siebert (Jodie), James Siebert (Sonja), Livia Greenberg, Laura Siebert, Patrick O'Linn, Shannon Paterak (Steve), Tim O'Linn (Colette), Erin O'Linn, Jennifer Smith-Mayo (Matthew), and the late Francis John Smith (Charity).

Graduating from Brush High School, Ralph served his country in the Ohio National Guard and married the love of his life, Madeline, on May 16 ^th , 1959. He went on to employment at Hillside Dairy and the South Euclid Police Auxiliary. In 1965 he was hired as a police patrol officer for the City of Solon. As he continued his career he was promoted to Detective, Sergeant, and Lieutenant. Ralph was a licensed charter boat captain and enjoyed many days with family, friends and clients fishing for walleye on Lake Erie. After retiring from police work and his snow plowing business, he continued to serve his community as a Solon City Schools School bus driver. Ralph and Madeline retired to Surprise, Arizona where Ralph enjoyed riding his bike, playing golf, and adventuring in the company of many new and old friends. Ralph was an active member of the Solon community and a St. Rita's parishioner. His sense of humor and lively spirit will be missed by many.

Friends and family gathering on Tuesday, January 18 ^th 10:00 am at St. Rita's Church, 32820 Baldwin Rd. Solon, OH 44139. Mass begins at 10:15 am.  Following the service Ralph will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery, 32725 Solon Road. All are Welcome. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation in Ralph's name to St. Rita's Parish, Solon, Ohio
