RICHARD DEAN NELSON of Stuart, Fl. died at his Solon, OH home on July 4th at the age of 72. Dick was born on Dec. 15, 1942 to Richard & Mayme Nelson in Minneapolis, MN. He was a graduate of St. Louis Park Senior High, and went on to MacMurray College where he was a 3-sport athlete, playing baseball, basketball & golf, and then received his Master's of Science from the University of Minnesota. He began his career at IBM and went on to become a successful entrepreneur. "Nellie" as he was known to friends, had a zest for life; he loved golfing, boating, taking care of his yard, and being a grandpa! He was a long-time member at Canterbury Golf Club and Firestone Country Club; he was an active member at Willoughby Golf Club in Stuart, Fl. and Shoreby Club in Cleveland, OH. Richard leaves behind several friends, including the love of his life, Terry Musengo; David (Angie) Talboo, & four grandchildren all who will greatly miss him. Services for family will be private.
