Robert Joseph "Joe" Shaver passed away from pancreatic cancer on January 18, 2023 at the age of 69. He died at home, surrounded by family. Joe leaves behind his wife, Terri (nee Tobin), daughters, Lottie (Steve) and Shannon (Ben), and granddaughter, Alden. Joe was one of nine children. He leaves behind siblings Bill (Debby), Mary Lynn Montgomery, Mark, Dan, Tim, and John. He is preceded in death by his mother, June, father, Robert, brothers, Tom and Jim, and nephew, Matthew. Beloved uncle, cousin, and nephew; friend to all.

Joe worked as a welder at Lincoln Electric for 38 years. He loved spending time with friends and family, doing yard work, grilling, going to church at Saint Joan of Arc in Chagrin Falls, and taking the dogs for a walk. During his retirement, Joe volunteered with Meals on Wheels through the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging. He loved helping and visiting with the elderly patrons, helping them in any way he could. He loved helping others, including complete strangers.

A celebration will be held at Tabone Komorowski Funeral Home in Solon, Ohio on January 28, 2023 at 2-4:30pm. Visitation from 2-4pm with memorial to follow.
