Rose L. Faranda, born May 28th, 1926, age 93, of Solon, Ohio, passed away on the morning of Tuesday, March 31st, 2020. Rose lived a full life and enjoyed her family, friends, golfing, bowling and "the slots". She resided in Solon for over 50 years in the same home with her loving husband Salvatore Faranda, (deceased). She was a hard worker and retired from TRW serving 30+ years with the company. Rose was a strong, independent, Italian woman who loved family and had a soft spot for all bakery! She is survived by her daughter Darlene B. Faranda Sabo (David deceased) of Strongsville, Ohio. Son, Carmen J. Faranda (Diedre) of Bonita Springs, Florida, and son, (deceased) Salvatore V. Faranda (Melissa) of Solon, Ohio. Siblings, Tony Latina (Lois), Joey Latina (Louise), Margaret Latina Mann (Bill), Jessie Latina Gruttadaurio (James) and Mary Latina Testa (James).  Rose also leaves grandchildren, David Sabo, Michelle Gumina, Regina Faranda Titus, Carmen Faranda, Antonio Faranda, Adrianne Faranda, Angela Faranda, and Alana Faranda. She was a beloved Aunt and Great Aunt to many and will be remembered and always loved by her great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.  Due to circumstances, services will be suspended until further notice. Burial will take place at Knollwood Cemetery 1678 Som Center Rd Mayfield Hts., Ohio 44124. Arrangements are under the direction of Tabone Komorowski Funeral Home, Solon, Ohio.
