Shirley Schuetz Humphrey, aged 74, passed away on April 9, 2024. Shirley was the embodiment of kindness; her home and heart were warm, generous, and abundant. A graduate of East Kentucky University, she taught Home Economics before becoming a loving mother to Paul (41) and Emily (39). She mothered far more than her two children—she was always providing meals, homemade bread, pies, cookies, and the like to neighbors and friends. She was an avid sewer and crafter with a penchant for crochet, knitting, and making clothing by hand. Many family members still prize their Shirley-made sweaters, scarves, baby outfits, and blankets. She loved shopping and seizing a good deal, whether it be from the grocery store, thrift store, or bakery. Shirley was a Guardians fan, keen to tune in whenever they were on. In the final years of her life, she reveled in the company of her roommate and friend, her cat, Dagger.  Visitation Thursday, April 18th from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M.at TABONE KOMOROWSKI FUNERAL HOME 33650 SOLON RD., SOLON.
