On August 22, 2023, Sophia (Rubinski) Kvacek of Garfield Hts, Ohio left this world
to be with her beloved husband, Leonard. She loved tending to her roses, baking
Christmas cookies, crocheting afghans and playing her favorite slot machines.
With her husband in their camper, they enjoyed traveling to all but two U.S.
States. She was one of 8 siblings of Polish descent.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean Golden and grandchildren, Frank Novak,
Jamie (Mike) Kasunick, and Craig Novak. And by her son, Alan and grandchildren
George and Rachael. Those who knew Sophia will remember her as someone who
loved the holidays with family at her home and church on Sunday. She had a
unique stubborn streak and would tell it like it is. She is loved and missed by
family and friends and always will be.
