WAYNE E. GODZICH, Age 81, army veteran and former Solon Police Chief.  Starting

1968 in Law enforcement he rose through the ranks, serving as a motorcycle officer,

undercover narcotics officer on the Federal Drug Abuse Task Force, the department's first

K-9 officer and trainer, in addition to 19 years in the detective bureau.  Beloved husband

of Patricia; devoted father of Joelle Okko (Maad), Steve (Karen); loving grandfather of Michael

Okko and Nicholas Godzich; dear brother of Jack (Gail).  In lieu of flowers family suggest

Contributions to Geauga Humane Society or American Cancer Society in Wayne's memory.
