WILLIAM MICHAEL DUDY OF Solon, Ohio and formerly of Northfield, Ohio, beloved brother, uncle and friend was born in Helvetia, Pennsylvania to the late Michael A. Dudy and Anna (Sulin) Dudy.  He graduated from John Adams High School and began working for the Western Electric Company in Clevleand, Ohio which later located to Solon, Ohio.  Bill Served in Germany for the United States Army as a specialist with Technical Knowledge in moving missile systems within the country.  He resumed his employment at Western Electric until his retirement.  He was a Honorary Life Member of the Communications Workers of America and belonged to the AT&T Pioneers.  He was predeceased in death by his brother John Lawrence Dudy and sister-in-law Elsie Dudy.  Also predeceasing Bill was his bother Robert G. Dudy.  He is survived by his sister-in-law Patricia (nee Wolf) Dudy and his sister Nancy (nee Dudy) Catalano and brother-in-law Frank Catalano.  Bill was the loving uncle of Wendy (Todd) McKee, Elizabeth (Ben) Kruse, Michael Catalano, Dawn Rene (Gilbert) Warner and John Ivan Dudy (deceased).  Bill was the loving great uncle of Zachary Kruse, Leah McKee, Kaylee (Jordan) Rodriguez, Mary McKee, Thomas McKee, Julianna Kruse, Chloe McKee, Josh McKee and Nicholas Kruse.  Bill enjoyed music, reading, auto and air shows, Cleveland Indians baseball and Cleveland Browns football and golfing.  He also enjoyed family gatherings where he often displayed his wonderful sense of humor.  He was kind and generous.  Bill loved our Lord and was a parishioner of St. Eugene Byzantine Catholic Church until its recent closing and was now a parishioner of St. Rita Catholic Church.  Due to the pandemic, there will be a private family viewing and a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rita Catholic Church, 32820 Baldwin Rd. Solon, Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at 10:30 A.M., which will also be for immediate family only.  Interment All Saints Cemetery in Northfield OH.  Mass will be livestreamed.
